Just got tma 03 back, guess what, it is competently conceived. Is this all I can write, nothing outstanding?
TMA 02 seemed to be more of something you’d find in a soap opera – it was overdramatic. I had rushed it, and what with computer problems, didn’t really do the story justice.
Poetry – I pulled my hair out over this section – I couldn’t get into any of the activities, didn’t have any inspiration or interest in them. Last month really seemed like a waste of £500 on a course when I couldn’t write, couldn’t garden (clubroot, slungs & snails, various pesties), had lack of energy to do things (including those I enjoyed) and didn’t sleep well.
TMA03 – I concentrated more on form and rhyme than on rhythm which the tutor said was the more important element in a poem. One line I was even scraping the bottom of the barrel, though I disagree with this comment.
Oh well, looks like I am going for a grade 3 pass.

But at least you are sticking at it – you’re gaining from the money you spent and learning all the time. Imagine my shame, to have given up and walked away from it.
I’m giving you a round of applause, from where I am sitting. And I truly think that you deserve it.

Don’t be disappointed Mia. It is very hard to write anything to a required criteria and get all the boxes ticked. I don’t think I shall realise how much I have learned on A215 until its all over and I can write freely again.
Only TMA04 and TMA05 and then the final ECA and then a pat on the back eh?
Beth – I didn’t realise you were no longer with us!
